DESCRIPTION:
The Sanderson QP1000 is a premium CAST IRON shorty block hugger header for the small block Chevy engine. Providing an excellent fit, great performance, and unmatched clearance. The QP1000 offers a great-looking ribbed finish, one-piece design featuring D-shaped technology and anti-reversion baffles for both low end torque and top end horsepower. Note the images below showing clearance and fit comparisons.
This is the most popular header for '55-57 Chevy small block applications, and fits a long list of applications from Model-A on up. The QP1000 is a quieter-running header. See MORE images below.
 Will work with GM D-Port heads.- Will work with GM angle plug heads
- Will NOT work with aftermarket heads using non-GM style exhaust ports
- Available with threaded ports for GM A.I.R. injection tubes (select below)
