Electric Shift Acuator

 

Precision Performance Products introduces a new concept in electrically activated shifters. As usual only the highest quality of engineering and construction is exhibited in this product. The device is easily retro-fitted to the KWIK-SHIFT I & II, two speed Powerglide model shifters.

This unique device develops 120 lbs. of force, the typical shifting force of a C0₂ powered shifter. This will guarantee that every shift is acheived with maximum force. The operation of the shifter is accomplished by placing the shifter in low gear position,thereby cocking a powerful die spring that is restrained by a mechanical locking device. Only a one amp momentary pulse is required to trigger the unit, which will minimize battery drain and eliminate hot solenoids. Also featured, is a quality locking metal electrical disconnect, allowing for quick shifter removal from the vehicle.
