Distributor Hole Plug, Dry Sump, Chev V8 265-454 #MAL-29002

Distributor Hole Plug

The Distributor Hole Plug is for engine applications that have converted to front drive distributor, such as the Mallory Comp 9000 #MAL-20900 or #MAL-20901, or a distributorless ignition setup. When you convert your ignition you now must close the hole in the intake manifold and engine block where the original distributor used to be.

What is MOST critical is that you are not just covering the hole. The lower portion of the housing is machined to the same specs as the distributor where the oil control are located.

FEATURES:

Fits Chevy V8 262-454, 502 engines
For front drive or distributorless engine applications where the original distributor location is no longer used
Manufactured from 6061-T6 billet aluminum to exacting specifications
For use with DRY SUMP oiling systems ONLY for no pump drive is provided. For plug with oil pump drive, order #MAL-29003
