The Sanderson BB56 header is designed for the 55-57 Chevy applications and can be used with manual of 605 steering. Will fit all iron heads. Both sides exit above the bottom of the oil pan for great ground clearance.
IMPORTANT INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS:
- You must remove the stock bellhousing boss on the driver's side.
- You need to move the engine forward ¾" or use an aftermarket mount kit. Side or front mount kits will work. There are different mount kits available from various manufacturers.
- Use of an aftermarket or custom transmission mount to provide clearance for the exhaust system and collector connections.
