The Mallory Distributor Hole Plug with Oil Pump Drive is for engine applications that have converted to front drive distributor, such as the Mallory Comp 9000 #
MAL-20900 or #
MAL-20901, or a distributorless ignition setup. When you convert your ignition you now must close the hole in the intake manifold and engine block where the original distributor used to be.
What is MOST critical is that you are not just covering the hole. The lower portion of the housing is machined to the same specs as the distributor where the oil control are located.
This item also features an oil pump drive gear for wet sump oiling systems.
